Five friends from the Lorraine, decide to launch out in an adventure. Which? That to found a new group of traditional music. “Lune à Tics”, in association since 2006, is to take part and/or organize musical representations, that it is in the form of ‘’bals folk’’, of workshops of dance folk, or animations of dance or presentations of traditional instruments in school, MJC…
Repertory of contemporary or medieval pieces traditional originating in French areas like Auvergne, Brittany, Poitou, Burgundy, the Basque Country, Lorraine… but also of foreign origin like Ireland, Italy, Russia, England, Greece or Spain. Very personal compositions are added to their recoveries…
Dances are varied as much as possible: Scottishs, Waltz 3 or 5 times, Polkas simple or picked, Bransles simple or double, of Scotland, of the Horses, Circles, Reels, Jigs, French or English Contredanses, Fandango, Minuet of the Chain, Andro, Hanter Dro, Tarentelle, Mazurka, Scottish Waltz, Round of St Vincent, Bourrées 2 or 3 times and particular (Cassiopée, Grandes Potteries), Maraichines, Korobuchka/Kazatchok, 7 Sauts, Carnival of Lanz, Cochinchine, Gavotte and so much of others…
